Fauna is a fruit-driven red blend with a bright, berried lushness and a lightness in structure indicative of our ultra cool-climate in Nova Scotia. A partial carbonic maceration contributes amplified fruit flavours, a smooth, velvety texture and immediate drinkability.

Tasting Notes

Deep violet hue in the glass. Juicy berry and savoury, earthy notes on the nose - brambleberry jam, cherry cola and licorice root. Medium-bodied, fresh and and bright, with dark fruit flavours and light tannins. Best served slightly chilled.

Pairing suggestions include coq au vin, lamb tagine, butter chicken, roasted sweet potato or butternut squash.
