2024 Terroir Series Riesling
Our Terroir Series celebrates small lot, single-varietal wines that express a strong sense of place and coastal influence. This Riesling is a single-vineyard bottling, with all grapes sourced from the Lightfoot Home Farm Vineyard in Wolfville, Nova Scotia; hand-harvested (October 13th & 16th) and whole cluster pressed. Fermentation was spontaneous with wild yeasts in stainless steel.
Each label is thoughtfully illustrated to reflect the unique story of the place from which the wine originates. Symbolism on the label highlights our commitment to organic-biodynamic farming and promoting biodiversity: bees, butterflies, and cow horns speak to our regenerative farming practices and efforts to foster a thriving farm ecosystem. The eye symbolizes the human element - our mindful presence on the land and intention to work in harmony with the natural world.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw-gold in the glass. On the nose, aromas of golden apple, ripe pear, honeysuckle, and candied citrus peel, accented by a hint of white blossom. On the palate, a slightly off-dry profile that showcases lush stone fruit and honeyed citrus is beautifully balanced with a backbone of crisp acidity.
Pairing suggestions include moderately spiced aromatic dishes, roasted poultry or pork with fruit glaze, aged or salty cheeses, and rich seafood such as lobster thermidor or snow crab.
