In terms of ingredients and processing aids, all of our wines are 100% vegan-friendly and contain no animal by-products. We use clay bentonite for fining. However, we are a certified biodynamic farm winery, which means that we do raise livestock for meat consumption and our livestock play a role in our winegrowing practices, as part of the self-sufficient biodynamic ethos. For instance, the manure of our livestock (cattle, sheep) form the basis of our compost program, which goes back to our vineyards and gardens as fertilizer. During harvest season, our pigs forage on pomace after pressing to help minimize waste.
