Please note special events sometimes impact our regular operating hours. If you are planning a visit, we strongly encourage reservations or a call ahead to confirm opening hours for the date and time you have in mind. Upcoming early closures are noted below.
Fri, Oct. 5th – Closing early for our Harvest Dinner event (tickets available!). Tasting room closing at 6 pm, last seating on patio at 4pm.
Sat, Oct. 13th – Tasting room closing at 4 pm, last seating on patio at 2:30pm.
October 22 – December 23
From October 22nd the tasting room will remain open 7 days a week 10am to 6pm. A small plates dining concept in The Gallery will commence Friday, November 2nd and run 11am to 4pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday until December 23rd.

2018 Lightfoot & Wolfville Experiences
The Lightfoot & Wolfville tasting bar is the ideal place to enjoy a flight of Nova Scotia wine while watching the Bay of Fundy tide roll in. Our team members are always happy to welcome visitors in, share the winery’s story, and tailor wine suggestions to suit guest’s tastes.
$8 for 3 wines, $10 for 4 wines (1-ounce tastings)
No appointment necessary – drop ins welcome during opening hours
Advance notice appreciated for large groups (8p+)
A detailed introduction to the Lightfoot & Wolfville story. Guests explore the property, taking in stunning views of Cape Blomidon, rolling vineyards, and the modern-barn architecture of our new hospitality facility. A guide talks through the farm’s history, the significance of the local geography, and the core principles of the winery: legacy, quality, and sustainability. This tour includes a tasting of three featured wines.
45 minute tour, $15 per person
Public Signature Tour Offered April 30 – May 27 Thursday to Sunday at 12 noon, and from May 28 – October 15 7 days a week at 12 noon.
Public Signature Tours are limited to no more than 20 people per session to ensure a quality experience – please contact us to secure your spot.
Private Signature Tour bookings also accepted for groups of 4 or more in line with our tasting room hours.
Portfolio Tasting (Coming soon)
This intimate, guided tasting experience is held in one of our private gathering spaces. A seated and comprehensive tasting flight of six current releases is served in varietal specific glassware. Includes a detailed overview of the winery narrative and winemaking practices by one our core team members.

Discover Biodynamics (Coming soon)
Lightfoot & Wolfville is one of very few Demeter certified biodynamic wineries in Canada. This whole-farm focused tour highlights our sustainable winegrowing philosophies and practices. Guests will learn about the unique ways in which we work with nature to craft enlivened wines and food of quality and balance. Includes a garden tour and tasting of four organic/biodynamic wines paired with fresh farm-to-table small bites.
Intimate groups of 4 – 12 people.
A Tour of Nova Scotia (Coming soon)
A celebration of Nova Scotia’s unique, coastal-influenced sense of place. Designed to offer guests high-end casual cuisine focusing on dishes inspired by Nova Scotia sourced ingredients that showcase the affinity between local wine and food. The featured offering is three bites served with a flight of three of our signature wines to complement each component of the dish.
